This sandalwood powder is suitable to use on an incense burner or making incense sticks and cones with wood binding powder.
Directions to use on an incense burner:
- Burn a charcoal disc with stove top or jet-flame lighter until red-hot.
- Place the flamed charcoal disc inside the burner.
- Put a teaspoon of Sandalwood Powder on top of the flamed charcoal.
You may also use an electrical burner to avoid fire.
As of now, we carry two types of sandalwood from Australia: Western Australian Sandalwood and Premium Western Australian Sandalwood in powder form and wood chips.
Both are 100% pure sandalwood powder from Santalum Spicatum tree. Western Australian Sandalwood are sustainably harvested from the managed plantation while Premium Western Australian Sandalwood are collected from the naturally died wild tree.
In terms of their aromatic profile, Western Australian Sandalwood are lighter, woody, and slightly sweet. Premium Western Australian Sandalwood are richer, woody, warm, sweet and with a subtle earthy undertone.
