Palo Santo Powder (Bursera Graveolens)

Palo Santo is a sacred aromatic tree in South America  that means "Holy Wood". Palo Santo powder is often used in similar ways to Palo Santo sticks or smudging herbs like sage. 

The aroma release from Palo Santo can help to clear negative energies, create a more positive and harmonious environment. Its pleasant and soothing aroma also can help reduce stress, anxiety, promote relaxation and have a calming effect on the mind and body.

How to use Palo Santo Powder?

Option 1: Burn on top of charcoal disc

1. Light a charcoal disc until red hot and put in the incense burner.
2. Sprinkle a small amount of Palo Santo powder on it.
3. Allow it to smolder and release its fragrant smoke.

Option 2: Making incense trail

1. In an incense bowl filled with white ash, loosen the ash first and use a presser to even the surface.
2. Put in the trail mold on the surface.
3. Scoop some Palo Santo powder to the trail mold, remove the mold and the trail is formed.
4. Burn at the tip of the trail to enjoy.

Option 3: Electric burner

Place a small amount of Palo Santo powder on a burner dish. Turn on and adjust temperature to 150˚C - 200˚C to heat up the powder.

Option 4: Making incense stick/cone/tablet

Making incense stick/cone/tablet with or without wood binder.
